Former teacher Lazaro Kinyaki from the village of Nyamuswa near Butiama and now the cultural tourism coordinator for Nyamuswa, leafed through a calendar while visiting the library housing the
collection of books and papers of Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere, Tanzania's founding president.
Kinyaki brought along trainee tour guides for the day-long trip that included visiting Mwalimu
Nyerere's residence at Mwitongo in the village of Butiama.
